lyrics

Steps to the lot the first time and sees his life change,
beliefs rearranged in his brains like he never seen humans act so strange
combined lines of merchants and musicians alter his plane
the colours clouding up his mind as if it was deranged
to see people so happily, acting like one big ass family,
But wonder not mockery is what he actually said to me
he said honestly it’s prophecy, this moment was simply meant to be,
if it was not for being here now then I’d be living insanity, it’s plain to see
that that moments outside this time just weren’t free,
with his mind alight in reverie he sprinted several yards ahead of me.
Now it’s just Grateful Dead and me, some nearby kids dancing on amphetamines
And up above Mile’s fading shadow, I could still see those lights casting off high beams
on the scene and the surrounding families all trying to make their means
Shouts and the screams of of kids swallowed a couple beans
life is all about embracing those dreams so if you don’t go out and get it then what the
fuck did your life mean (or what could it have been)?
and the joyful sound it astounds me and surrounds me,
man damn, how did I get so lucky?
Inspiration struck me.

all little blessings,
each and every second still stuck stagnant standing here
my eyes and throat laugh, my head thrown back, joyous tears
“Has it really been a year?” Life passes to fast on the days are quickly gone
but have no fear,
know life ain’t gonna do you no wrong,
so strong that we can make this movement last for so long,
recapture a bit that they’ve held captive,
almost make you think it were gone.
But in these songs…

We are the life lovers, the up all nighters,
the burners and the moon shiners, the drummers and the writers,
those who are the breath exciters, who make tunes where we spark our lighters,
become soul igniters, freedom fighters, professional hypers.

It’s only the first night of tour and yet it feels like absolutely nothing before
in store in magic memories and ticket stubs I will add to my dresser drawer
success is in my lions roar that I let out on the first night of four,
"for love not war!"
Embrace the insecure and love em cause those kids are used to hitting ignore
an out pour of love knocks down doors,
life’s way of showing you it’s galore -
"Together we'll soar, man!"

Together we’ll soar I think as I take a look out on my friends
I get my ticket out my book bag as the music begins.
I’m lucky, man.
